Silk offers breathability, smooth texture and amazing drape. Silk is also one of the more fragile fibres within our collection.
Silk garments should not be machine washed. Instead, take your silk BELANCĒ garments to a reputable dry cleaner and request a delicate dry clean service. Do not tumble dry silk garments. Iron silk only if necessary on low heat with a fabric insert between the iron and the garment.
To avoid the need for frequent dry-cleaning, leave your garments hanging in a high airflow environment after each wear to alleviate odours. Hang your silk garments on thick-shouldered hangers during storage as thin hangers can create dents at the garment’s shoulder.
Known for its casual nature and worn-in look, linen garments require care and attention to ensure they look great for many summers to come.
Wash your linen BELANCĒ garments by hand or on a delicate machine wash cycle. Wash your linen garments in cold water and use a natural, organic detergent.
Do not tumble dry your linen BELANCĒ garments. Instead, turn the garment inside out and lay it flat on either a towel or drying rack, allowing it to naturally air dry. Linen garments can be ironed if necessary on a medium heat and with a fabric insert shielding the fabric from the iron surface.

Cotton is a resilient fibre known for its comfort and breathability. Cotton garments have a long lifespan and perform well over time if cared for properly.
Cotton garments can be machine washed on a warm temperature setting. Avoid excessive heat or overly rough cycles. Use a natural, organic detergent. Remove garments immediately after the cycle is finished.
Do not tumble dry cotton garments. Instead, you can dry your cotton garments by laying them on a flat surface or hanging them on a thick, shouldered hanger. Avoid direct sunlight. Cotton garments can be ironed directly onto fabric on a moderate heat setting.
