Jared and Irene had the time of their lives at their beautiful vineyard wedding. When we met Jared, he said he wanted something unique but minimalist, so we decided on a custom dinner jacket made with a very special silk by Loro Piana, and wool trousers. We had so much fun planning their perfect outfit, the whole wedding party brought such positive and loving energy to the experience, and this resulted in all of them looking their best.

What was the most memorable moment of the wedding day?
Seeing Irene come down the aisle. Honestly almost everything else is a blur, but I can’t even describe all the emotions I was feeling in that moment. I’m still transported every time I think about it.
What was the overall aesthetic and style of the wedding?
Cool and classy without trying too hard. We were married at a beautiful vineyard in the Megalong Valley. We wanted to be married outdoors surrounded by natural beauty, but we also didn’t want to go too rustic with it.
What was the dress code of your wedding and how did you decide it?
Formal Black tie. We knew we were going to be married in a relaxed, natural setting but we didn’t want the vibe to be too casual or boho. A classic, formal dress code brought a touch of elegance to the wedding.
What was the best part of getting your custom wedding suit made and why?
I went into the process without much idea what I was looking for and feeling a little out of my depth. Nevertheless I always felt like I was in good hands at Belance. The guys helped me choose the colour, style and material that would look good on me and my groomsmen. Over the course of some fittings we had lots of fun hanging out at the Belance Paddington showroom’s bar and getting to know the guys. Oscar, Charlie and Theo have great creative vision and attention to detail. They really took care of us and we ended up looking amazing on the day.
